When discussing plans for new sites with our customers, it is vitally important that the scope of what we are jointly aiming to achieve is laid bare. We want to give them a vision of how their new project – be it an industrial unit, a free-range poultry site or even a residential development – will look once complete.
One new method which we are now in the early stages of developing is the use of a 3D modeling computer software to produce videos of simulated ‘walk-throughs’ of new development sites from the planning stage. This means that our clients – and even prospective clients – can now visualise their project in a way in which they have before been unable.
Knights CAD Technician, Michael Austin who is part of the team behind this development says he’s excited about its future possibilities. “We always want to be moving forward and developing not only our on-site construction methods – but from a design point of view – it’s important that we look to enable the planning stages to be as accurate as we possibly can. The way we use the 3D modeling is currently in its infancy and is mainly being used for illustrative purposes to the client but in time I’m hoping that we can begin to use this format to help plan out drainage, underground services and much more really.”
As a leader in agricultural construction we are continually looking at where we can improve and develop what we deliver to our clients to ensure that their experiences of working with Knights is completely positive.
